Overview

Release 1912 is now available from Cloudhouse.

This topic details the new features and fixes for AppAcceleratorV, the Cloudhouse Auto Packager, Container Editor, and the Cloudhouse Compatibility Containers™ they create released throughout December 2019.

Any components that have changed this month are version 4.6.1912.nnnn

Auto Packager

New Features

Auto Packager 4.6.1912.25078 (released 16th December 2019)

  • The Auto Packager will now detect if the Windows Update service is running and if it is, it will not allow packaging to proceed until the service is stopped in line with Cloudhouse best practise.

Fixes

Auto Packager 4.6.1912.25078 (released 16th December 2019)

  • Fixes packager crash when an application deploys many advertised shortcuts.

Advisories

Advisory 1

The Container Editor should only be used to update applications, file, and registry redirections on the same architecture the original Container was created on. For example, if the Container was created on an x86 machine, then the Container Editor must be run on an x86 machine to update the Container.
